The 10th World Friends Day explanation meeting and summer poetry and art collection were successfully held in Fushun Friendship Tribe.

On the afternoon of July 5, 2025, the 10th World Friendship Day Briefing and Midsummer Poetry Gathering was successfully held in Fushun Friends Tribe.

The event was a report and announcement following a field trip to Nepal by the preliminary research delegation for the 10th World Friendship Day.

Li Li, renowned poet, poetry critic, and co-founder of the World Friendship Day, delivered an impassioned speech. He briefly reviewed the World Friendship Day activities over the past decade, saying, "The World Friendship Day is an angel of friendship and peace. Years from now, people will recognize it as another great contribution of the Chinese people to the spiritual life of humanity! It is also a rare cultural and spiritual treasure for Fushun, the birthplace of creativity, and especially for Shiwen Town in Fushun County!"

Chen Yanzhu, Chairman of the Entrepreneurs Working Committee of the China Business Culture Research Association and co-founder of the World Friends Day, shared his deep feelings after visiting Nepal with the preliminary inspection team of the 10th World Friends Day. 

She analyzed the event from four perspectives: "Highlights of the Trip, Cultural Touch, Friendship Connections, and Spiritual Enlightenment." Each dimension was captivating and inspiring, encompassing "a soulful journey interwoven between sacred land and nature, a deep resonance from sacred sites to the civic life, warmth and a vision of cooperation across national borders, and a dialogue with oneself on the pilgrimage route." Finally, she said affectionately, "The sanctity of sacred sites, the majesty of nature, and the warmth of human kindness have together woven a bond of civilizations that transcends national boundaries. I look forward to the 10th World Friends Day being held in Nepal, where the snow-capped peaks of Mount Everest and the bodhi trees of Lumbini will bear witness to the enduring friendship between China and Nepal and illuminate a bright future for dialogue among human civilizations!"

Zhang Jingtao, Chairman of the World Friends Day Working Committee of the China Business Culture Research Association and founder of the World Friendship Day, briefed on the preliminary inspection tour to Nepal by the delegation for the 10th World Friends Day.

He said the connection between the 10th World Friendship Day and Nepal stems from a Nepali friend who studied and lived in Chengdu, China, for 20 years. His Chinese name is "Ai Zhong" (Dr. Robot Ghimire). Thanks to his enthusiastic connection, the World Friendship Day organizing committee held two meetings with the Nepali Consulate General in Chengdu, receiving the full support of Consul General Suresh Raut. Thanks to the efforts of various parties, the 10th World Friendship Day preparatory delegation of five, including Zhang Jingtao, Li Runze, Xiao Jiaze, Chen Yanzhu, and Wu Hanyu, completed an unforgettable trip to Nepal from June 5th to 12th.

The inspection team walked through the ancient capital palace city, towering temples and solemn pagodas in Kathmandu, the capital of; they felt the mysterious "Ganges Ritual" on the lakeside of the holy lake in Pokhara, the second largest city; they watched the sun rise over the snow-capped peaks of the sixth, eighth and tenth highest peaks in the world, feeling the majesty, sanctity and majesty of the Fish Tail Snow Peak at sunrise; theyshipped at the birthplace of Sakyamuni Buddha in Lumbini, the ruins of the palace where the Buddha lived for 29 years before his enlightenment, pavilion where the Buddha first returned to his country and lived for three months after his enlightenment, and the oldest eighth-century pagoda, which is the only one the world that has not been excavated and preserves one-eighth of the true relics of the Buddha. Every place and every scene can feel the energy support that transcends and space from 2600 years ago, all of which tell the story of Xuanzang's Zen and the intricate connection with Chinese Buddhist culture

During the meeting with the leadership of the Nepal Tourism Board, Mr. Ram Prasad Sapkota, Vice Chairman of Nepal Tourism Board, Sam Dahal Senior Officer, Executive Committee and CEO Secretariat, Mr. Rohini Prasad Khanal, Officiating Director of Tourism Marketing and Promotion Department, and Ms Sushila Kumari Baral, Senior Officer of Tourism Marketing and Promotion Department, Chairman Zhang Jingtao introduced the basic situation of the World Friendship Festival and said emotion, "In Nepal, we can worship the two peaks that human beings admire: one is the peak of nature, Mount Everest, and the other is the peak of the holy land, Lumbini, the birthplace of Sakyamuni Buddha!"

During the meeting with the leadership of the Nepal Tourism Board, Mr. Ram Prasad Sapkota, Vice-Chairman of the Nepal Board, Mr. Sam Dahal, Senior Officer and Secretary of the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Rojini Prasad Kanel, Acting Director of the Department Tourism Marketing and Promotion, and Ms. Suchila Kumari Baral, Senior Officer of the Department of Marketing and Promotion, Chairman Zhang Jingtao introduced the basic situation the World Friendship Festival and excitedly said: "In Nepal, we can worship the two peaks that human beings admire: one is the peak of nature, Mount Everest, the other is the peak of the holy land, Lumbini, the birthplace of Sakyamuni Buddha!"

In the summer poetry and art gathering, calligrapher Mr. Li Guangsheng and sculptor Mr. Zeng Qbin showed their talents by splashing ink; the Tibetan dance "The Most Beautiful Affection" performed by Ma Xiaoming and Xinping Choir was lively and bright, which the participants; Ms. Wang Xinping's recitation of "Friendship Ode" by Mr. Cheng Kui was soul-stirring; Xu X and Xing Ying's duet "The Wild Goose Descends on the Sandy Land" with the harmony of the zither and flute took everyone into a-reaching artistic conception; Ms. Cui Hong from Norway recited the selected works of Mr. Li Songtao, the winner of the Lu Xun Literature Prize, with unique voice; Ms. Lan Yi's playing of the ancient Chinese zither "Fisherman's Song" and Ms. Bi Xiaolian's paper- "Flowers on the Shoulder" complemented each other, with one zither and one pair of scissors, both arts and both sages, echoing each other and complement each other; when the paper-cutting was completed and displayed on the bodies of handsome men and beautiful women at home and abroad, it won unanimous praise; Ms. Cui Li Australia recited the poetry of Li Li "The Great Wind", with ups and downs and full of emotions, which won the applause; Zhang Jingtao, the founder the World Friendship Festival, was infected by the atmosphere and couldn't help himself, and improvised a martial arts performance of "Battle Fist"; Xinpingoir pushed the gathering to a climax with the medley of "Missing" and "Friendship Song", and people took photos together in the midst of laughter and joy, marking successful conclusion of the event.
